Putting a Spotlight on Design and Families

Whats the best way to promote an event? A signature look, promotion over the course of several months and an enthusiastic group of supporters!

Several months ago, our client Interiors Joan & Associates wanted to host an event in their studio.  Their idea? Merging interior design (their specialty) and fashion to create a show highlighting both, in conjunction with local Omaha boutiques Nouvelle Eve and McLovin’.  We were tasked with helping refine the event, connecting Interiors by Joan with beneficiary Lutheran Family Services, design the look of the event (including the visuals, the invitation and the runway design). What resulted was a unique event benefiting a great organization.

Our first goal was to create visuals for the event that echoed Interiors Joan & Associates branding, but put the focus on the event itself. The visual was used in emails, on the website, shared via social media and was included at the event itself!

Starting in September, the event was promoted via email, on Interiors Joan & Associates website & social media profiles, on the Omaha Morning Blend and via word of mouth.  Starting every other week, we shared information about the event, ultimately moving up to weekly, and then daily reminders of the Spotlight on Design, keeping the event at the forefront of peoples’ minds.  Below is a sampling of the type of information we shared:

The result of the efforts? We had a packed house and a total of over $4000 in donations (both cash and in kind) to Lutheran Family Services!
