What do you get when you add a new PBS Kids show that focuses on math skills, local Nebraska bloggers and some great prizes? You get an awareness campaign that reaches over 100,000 Nebraska parents.
As part of a year long Digital PR campaign with NET Nebraska, we worked with 7 Nebraska-based bloggers to promote the new PBS Kid’s show Peg + Cat. By providing review copies of the first episode and prizes that focuses on the show and other PBS Kid’s promotions, we generated 7 reviews & contests on some of our favorite blogs across the state. They included:
A contest & review on the Nebraska women’s site Her View from Home:
A contest & write up on the Omaha World Herald’s Momaha blog:
A review on Lille Punkin Reviews (Eastern Nebraska):
And many more, including contests on Family Fun in Omaha and Seeryus Mama (Western Nebraska), and combination posts on Chicks Dig Deals (Lincoln) and Midwest Mammas (Eastern NE/Western IA). In addition to blog posts, the bloggers and their readers shared news of the Peg + Cat promotions on Facebook, Twitter and other social media channels.
